What we collect
If you create an account: your email address, your name if you give it, and the business details you enter (trades, ZIP code, travel distance, certifications). From every visitor: the questions you type, the pages you visit, and basic device and browser information.
How we use it
To answer your questions, run your account, send the emails you ask for, and improve our answers.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run the site for us: hosting, sign-in, email delivery and error monitoring. They may use it only to provide those services. We also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to count the questions you ask before creating an account. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
Do Not Track
We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals, because we do not track you across other websites.
Your choices
You can see and change your account details in your account settings. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To delete your account and your questions, email hello@recompete.co and we will do it within 30 days.
Children
ReCompete is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and email account holders about any significant change.
